Bayou Boeuf Lock (MM 94) closed from 0600 hours to 1800 hours, and will operate between 1800 to 0600, due to construction along the bank near the gates. With this in mind, LST-325 adapts and over-comes.  LST-325 will take the Bayou Chene route with the assistance of a volunteering pathfinder tug. You meet the nicest people on the river. Adequate air and keel draft for the vessel on Chene and ship has appropriate ECDIS chart aboard to navigate. Ship will exit back into the GIWW at MM 85, bypassing Bayou Boeuf Lock to the east-side  The original GIWW route shorter, but given the 12 hour delay until 1800...this is much quicker. BT. AR K
