Memphis Ahead!

Today finds the USS LST 325 around a day from Memphis, just past Greenville, MS.  We're hoping to return this weekend.  She's really sailing with the new propellers.

Vicksburg around noon on Monday.

High winds are made for choppy waters on the river.

29 MPH winds can really cause rough waters.

A big rig through the windows of the Conning Station.

Making 7 MPH over ground and keeping steady.  New propellers are making the difference.

Near St Framcisville, La. S.R.10 bridge.

Section 4 on watch in the Wheel House.  Left to Right: Larry Knox and Harry Zillion.

Still on duty with Section 4. Left to Right: Perry Ballinger, Harry Zillion, and Bob Chick.
