Part of our Fall Cleanup is putting away the LCVP as we previously posted. We made our second attempt and it was successful! With the help of the guys at the Port of Evansville, the LCVP was safely loaded onto the trailer.
Scott Anderson and Patrick Shubel took the LCVP to the Port of Evansville.
John Engstrom and John Davis Jr. met them there with the deuce 1/2.
Using pulleys, the overhead crane hoisted up the LCVP once Scott and Pat got out.
The whole process was less than an hour.
Fits like a glove in the trailer. Thank you to the Port of Evansville and all the volunteers who keep this ship and her parts running!
