Our trusty Kenneth Grant stood as we measured the distant between the April 2011 flood line and where we are now at 45.2 ft.  Flood stage in Evansville is 42 ft.

Work continues on the Stern Anchor Cable project.

Herb Quick cut the cable. 

We only lost 20 ft. of cable, much better than the anticipated 100 ft.

Using pulleys and the crane, John Engstrom and Herb Quick were able to pull the cable onto the barge to cut it. 

Herb carries the hook from the crane on a dolly.
