November 10th to the 17th we had our Fall Work Week!  During work weeks, volunteers from all over these United States come to stay aboard ship and work.  We provide 3 meals a day and lots of camaraderie!  Below are photographic proof of how much fun you can have on a ship.

Cover the LCVP.

Grab lots of coffee.

Cutoff gun mounts.

Help in the Galley or at least help relieve them of stores.

Help organize and maintain the ship.

Painting on scaffolding.

Strain paint.

Pose for photos.

Adventure into the voids.

Work near our very own Frankenstein.

Help honor our veterans behind the scenes.

Create new friendships.

Make lots of food.

Meet our local veterans.

Enjoy scenic views of the Ohio River.

Discuss upcoming tasks.

Create replacement parts.

Refurbish spaces back to original glory.

Watching projects come to fruition.

See and maintain 70 year old diesel engines.

Learn mechanics and engineering on a massive scale.

Replace electrical wires and connections.

All of these things are done in 1 week aboard ship.  We honor veterans with the Veterans Breakfast.  We honor our volunteers with the Volunteer Appreciation Dinner.  We honor the past with the constant maintenance and preservation of this living WWII Museum, The USS LST 325!  The Last Fully Operational Landing Ship, Tank!  Be apart of something special and contact the office to become a volunteer!  Or, check out the Join Page of our website.
