The weather is nice for the first time since last Saturday. The ship was fleeted today. That means it was re-floated and moved forward and then put back down on the stanchions. The spots that were under the stanchions before now can be cleaned and painted to match the rest of the bottom. The bearings needed to be installed on the prop shafts to seal them in order to re-float the ship.
The props have not been reattached yet. There is still a lot to do. The prop guards need to be put back. The pontoon rail needs to be trimmed. The sides of the ship need to be painted. The rest of the crew arrives a week from today (Thursday). We plan on getting her underway back towards home a week from tomorrow (Friday) if all goes well. We expect at least 14 days underway. More to come.
