Last year one of the focuses of the Engineering Work Week were the Engine Parts Storage compartments on the Port Side.  This is a large project and we managed to clean, organize, and label the first compartment.  This year we completed the second compartment.

Everyone worked together to start clearing the parts and pieces out of the last compartment.

We're all very excited to work together to complete projects and have pictures taken.

Volunteers brought all the parts to the Tank Deck for organization.

The forward compartment was packed and they are making short work of it.

This is one of two mufflers for the Main Engine Exhaust.

The Greek labeling still remains on most of the shelves and storage compartments.

Important and very hard to find pieces like these 2 impellers that go inside of large root blowers on the main engines.  Pieces like these impellers haven't been made in years and need to be preserved for our use.

While everything was being inventoried, cleaned and the compartments cleaned, the parts were crated and labeled for proper storage.

Everything is now marked and easily located!
