Last week seen our Engineering Force on ship in full swing.  We have always started every morning with Quarters at 8:00 a.m.  During Quarters the volunteers would receive briefings of work to be done and how work has progressed.

After Quarters, the men broke off into their teams to complete specific tasks.

Each team had Team Leaders that would coordinate the work being done.  This made for a lot less confusion and great work productivity.

The men are a definitely happier knowing not only their job, but how it affects the ship.

Steve Gentz printed off a list of the projects to be done.  Having a printed list helps answer questions about where to go next and what projects are being completed.

All the planning made this work week the most successful Engineering Week we've had.

Paperwork may sound boring, but with increased documentation of projects and safety standards, we will make sure that the USS LST 325 will be here for future generations and they will know the work that has been done.

Our organization is growing and changing, won't you join us in improving this ship and ensuring her future?  Check out our Join Page by clicking here and become a volunteer today!  Help preserve and improve a piece of our Nation's History!
