Preparations for this year's cruise is underway.  We're headed to the Tennessee River to see Decatur Alabama and Chattanooga Tennessee.  Check out our Main Page for more information!

We're starting by putting our new Ford Ranger on board ship to be able to run errands once we arrive at our destination ports.

It is a very humid day here.

The metal ramps used to unload the truck require a dolly to move.

Along with many able hands.

It's easy rolling from here.

A few months back we showed you the volunteers from Ivy Tech welding around the elevator.  Well, we still have some leaks, but we have narrowed down the causes.  Look at these rusted bolts.

This is an important stabilizing part of the elevator.  Those feet help align the elevator with the guide poles when the lowering and raising.  The large gap you see below is because of the 1 degree list the ship is at while docked to help rainwater runoff.

Below is another hole for runoff under the elevator from the Main deck.

This and it's mate on the opposite side will be filled to prevent leaks onto the Tank deck.

Herb Quick also painted all of our dustpans.  Little details like this help improve the ship's appearance!
