The USS LST 325 has 2 General Motors V-12 Diesel Engines that power our 2 solid brass propellers.  We can't show the Engine Room due to safety concerns, so James "Sarge" Goodall has shared his talents once again.

Sarge has painstakingly drawn and then painted this on the tank deck while all the hussle of Work Week went on around him.

Does the Engineer Sarge used for scale look familiar?

It's our own Chief Engineer Ad Mumford.  Ad retired last year and everyone was excited to see him portrayed as a tribute to the hard work he has put in over the years volunteering on board ship.  We would not be sailing today if we didn't have his expertise and knowledge of the engines.
