To all of you who may be interested in our "Cruises". We don't offer rides to the public; instead, our annual cruise is used to share the ship with other ports along the inland rivers to educate the public about LSTs via tours. The crew is ALL VOLUNTEER and come from all walks of life, skill, and experience.

They made crew by volunteering a minimum of 80 hours on ship and submitted an application. This is no pleasure cruise, but a working ship manned by dedicated men! You may be saying, "Well how do I put in 80 hours, I live out of town and am not a Navy man". That doesn't matter! Most of our volunteers are not Navy men, and many aren't veterans but men who care about preserving this wonderful ship.

For out of town volunteers we host 2 Work Weeks a year. During that time men stay on board ship, have 3 meals a day, and work about 8 hours a day on all types of projects, from painting to welding to cooking; some guys like to help by giving tours to the public who come on board. We are will to train you for the work you want to do! Free training, free meals, free sea stories all on board the LST 325! Contact the office if you are interested in volunteering or check out our Donate Page and scroll through the rest of the posts to see more pictures of volunteers on board the LST 325!
